Terms of Service

Dicho measures whether AI answer engines — such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini — mention or recommend a business for the questions its customers ask, explains why, recommends what to improve, and (on the Pro and Business plans) generates draft content to help. Dicho is a measurement and guidance tool.

AI answer engines are independent third-party services. Their answers change over time, vary between runs, and are outside our control. Dicho measures visibility and recommends best practices; it does not guarantee that any engine will mention or recommend you, does not guarantee any ranking, position or business outcome, and does not promise a timeframe. Improvements typically take time to appear, and results can fluctuate.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Dicho. Team members you invite act under your organization and your responsibility.

Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record and processes payments and applicable taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars and billed monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. On Pro and Business you can add a higher check frequency (Frequent or Daily) for an extra monthly amount; a frequency change takes effect at your next renewal.

You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing portal. On cancellation you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that your account moves to the free plan.

14-day guarantee: if you request it within 14 days of your first base-plan payment, we refund that first payment in full and cancel your subscription. It applies once per customer and to the base plan only — frequency add-ons (Frequent/Daily) are excluded, and changing your frequency tier does not create a partial refund. You agree not to misuse Dicho: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload or circumvent security or rate limits, no reselling or redistributing the service without our permission, and no use of automated means to extract data beyond the features we provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you enter (your “verified facts”) and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

You keep ownership of the business information you enter and of the draft content Dicho generates for you. Dicho never publishes anything on your behalf: any draft is a suggestion for you to review, edit and publish yourself. You are responsible for what you choose to publish and for its accuracy and compliance.

To provide Dicho we rely on third parties, including AI answer engines, our hosting and database provider, our email provider and our payment provider. Their availability and their own terms affect the service. We are not responsible for the content, decisions or availability of third-party AI engines.

Dicho is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or any specific result. We may change, suspend or discontinue features over time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dicho and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Dicho in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using Dicho and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use Dicho in a way that harms the service or others. On termination your right to use Dicho ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability) continue to apply.

We may update these Terms as Dicho evolves. When we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, and we record the version you accepted. Continuing to use Dicho after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Guatemala have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
